Property Cape Town

Property Cape Town is in effervescence! It's booming with building sites! It's actually funny to count the numbers of cranes! Foreigners are investing all over the city! It's amazing! They focus on Cape Town for their overseas property investment.

And they are so right because there are not a lot of places worldwide where you can still find properties in this type of environment for this type of prices. And I'll be very surprised that it slows down with the Soccer World Cup coming.

However, locals are a bit more careful with property investment because of the interest rate which is very high (recently it reached 17%).

Before your start searching for the best property investments in South Africa, I encourage you to have a look first at Wesgro's website .

Wesgro is the official Investment and Trade Promotion Agency for the Western Cape, located in Cape Town. They are the first point of contact for investors. They are going to give you a great overview of the market and guide you according to what you want to do.

Just a quick note... In terms of loans and financing in South Africa, foreign investors are limited to a 50% loan- if they are not permanent resident.

Property Cape Town To Buy and To Rent

SA Home Traders , Private Property and My Property are websites where you'll be able to find residential property, business property to invest in South Africa as well as property to rent.

If you are interested in investing in South Africa as well as in other African countries such as Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia... Property 24 is targeting these property markets for rentals and investments.

Cape Property Guide is focusing on Cape Town property. It informs you of the new developments and lists more specific property investments such as Golf Estate Investments.

Property to Rent

SA Rental , Just Letting and The Rental Café are rental agencies which give you personal services.

I have personally dealt with all these rental agencies and I've enjoyed the effort they put in to follow up with me while I was searching for a place to live.

Unfortunately, nowdays, it's quite seldom that rental agents bother to phone you to inform you of places which could meet your needs.

It's really appreciative when you feel other people are also looking for property for you especially when you have a short time to find a home.
You can also have a look at Gumtree which is a very useful website where you can directly deal with the owners.
